I am not likely to walk up to the anti-Israel college protestors and talk to them because that would probably be participating in the unlawful chaos they are creating on campuses. But if I were to converse with them remotely, this is what I would say.
Some of you have said, “free Palestine from the River to the Sea.” That means only Palestinian Arabs in the Land of Israel/Palestine (no Jews, no Israeli Arabs, or anyone else identifying as Israelis). Since the Israeli people have nowhere else to go, I assume you want to kill all of the Israeli people (genocide).
Now, perhaps, you want a two-state solution. I also favor a two-state solution because the Israelis and Palestinian Arabs are both present and have nowhere else to go. But what would a Palestinian state be? A Palestine state can not be simply cut loose and magically appear. Israel tried that years ago with Gaza, and the Gaza Arabs elected Hamas as their government. Hamas is a terrorist organization with the stated goal of the destruction of Israel. The result was repeated terrorist attacks on Israel culminating in the Oct 7 barbaric attack on Israel which killed one thousand Israelis, mostly civilians, as well as raping and taking hostages. Something has to be put in place to prevent the Palestine state from being ruled by terrorists again. Confederation has been proposed in the past. I would suggest that a confederation would need a mediator and that mediator should be a panel of judges selected by the Israeli Supreme Court (which is known for impartiality).
